Don Fieselman

Don Fieselman is an instructor and coach at The Black Swan Group. He began his career as a police officer in Pocatello, Idaho in 1994.  Two years later, he was accepted to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent over twenty-five years there and worked most of his career in investigations. He became an instructor and taught local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel throughout his career. Don worked in juvenile prostitution investigations, outlaw motorcycle gangs, and organized crime investigations. He was then promoted to the Crisis Negotiation Team as Sergeant. Don officially retired in 2021 in Sex Crimes, a member of the Search and Seizure Committee, and an Assistant Team Leader of the LVMPD Crisis Negotiation Team.

Don became a licensed private investigator in 2022 and started his own business. A volunteer position was created for him on the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Crisis Negotiation Team just a few months after his retirement.  Don responds with the Crisis Negotiation Team and is an instructor in the yearly Crisis Negotiation School. 

Don finds immense satisfaction in helping others master skills that will improve their careers and lives. Having successfully used Black Swan Group methods while with the police department, as a private investigator, and as a small business owner, Don was excited to join the Black Swan team. He believes that the Black Swan Group is without equal in negotiation and communication techniques.
