About the Instructors
Chris Voss
CEO, Founder, Instructor, and Keynote Speaker
Chris used his many years of experience in international crises and high-stakes negotiations to develop a unique program that applies globally proven techniques to the business world.
Prior to 2008, Chris was the lead international kidnapping negotiator for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as well as the FBI’s hostage negotiation representative for the National Security Council’s Hostage Working Group. During his career, he also represented the U.S. government as an expert in kidnapping at two international conferences sponsored by the G8.
Derek Gaunt
Negotiation Instructor and Coach
With 29 years of experience, Derek has commanded and trained police department hostage negotiation teams. An expert trainer and coach, Derek has trained across the US and around the world. He is the author of Ego Authority Failure written for Leaders.
Don Fieselman
Negotiation Instructor and Coach
Don Fieselman is the instructor and coach at The Black Swan Group. He began his career as a police officer in Pocatello, Idaho in 1994. 2 years later, he was accepted to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) in Las Vegas, Nevada. He spent over twenty-five years there and worked most of his career in investigations. He became an instructor and taught local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel throughout his career.
Nick Peluso
Director of Business Development
Nick Peluso, Lead Instructor at Black Swan, focuses on corporate training and coaching professionals across a wide range of industries. With his extensive experience in business development and team management, Nick brings valuable insights and strategies to help clients determine the best training approaches for their teams. In addition to his work with external clients, Nick serves as Black Swan's lead sales coach, guiding the company's business development team to success. He is also a key member of the product development team, contributing to the creation and refinement of Black Swan's training offerings.

How many people will attend this event?
The event is open to 50 attendees only. You can expect to interact with each of our speakers, ask your negotiation questions, and network with other like-minded individuals who are hungry to make good deals.
Are meals included with my ticket?
Yes, meals for the day are included. Breakfast will be served during check-in at 8am and Lunch at 12pm.
In between the morning and afternoon sessions, there will be beverages and snacks available as well.

What is the refund policy?
Things come up and we understand. That's why if you cancel up to 4 weeks in advance we will fully refund your ticket cost.
If you cancel within 4 weeks of the event, a 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from the cost of your ticket.
