Join the Black Swan instruction team for a 2-day in-depth seminar. During this event, you'll learn advanced tactical empathy skills to increase your effectiveness in team negotiations, dealing with distrustful counterparts, using negotiator types to your benefit, and navigating the emotions that are always present within the negotiation. With our multiple-instructor approach, you'll learn from many perspectives and engage in case studies. This event is limited to 70 attendees.
**This course contains advanced materials and methodologies. We strongly recommend attending a Black Swan 1-day Live Event before a  2-day event.

Session 1
Kick the day off with an engaging case study! This team-based negotiation will test your existing knowledge of Black Swan skills. In this multi-faceted negotiation, you'll deal with negotiation internally, negotiating with a team at the table, dealing with distrust from your counterpart and how to price competitively.

Session 2

In order to effectively influence others, you first have to understand them. In this session, we'll focus on the 3 specific negotiator types, how to identify your type, how to identify the type of your counterparts and what skills are most effective on each type.

Session 1
This session will explore our advanced confrontation and tactical inquiry tools. You'll learn to effectively set boundaries, and create empathy in your favor, You'll also learn how to shape your counterpart's thoughts without explaining, gain true commitment, and confirm implementation.

Lunch is served. Eat, connect with the other awesome attendees, and let all you've learned in Session 1 soak in.

Session 2

No matter how logical people think they are, emotions are always at the center of decision making. You'll learn to shape your negotiation approach based on the emotions that are present and how to avoid the trap of "fairness." We'll wrap the afternoon with an exercise that will put all you've learned for the day to the test.

What are the prerequisites to take this course?

While we would love for everyone to attend. This course contains advanced materials and methodologies. We strongly recommend attending a Black Swan 1-day Live Event before a  2-day event. 

How many people will attend this event?

The event is open to 60 attendees only. You can expect to interact with each of our speakers, ask your negotiation questions, and network with other like-minded individuals who are hungry to make good deals. 

Are meals included with my ticket?

Yes, meals for the day are included. Breakfast will be served during check-in and will stop serving at 9:00 am when we kick off the day.

We will break 1 hour for lunch, which is also provided. In between the morning and afternoon sessions, there will be beverages and snacks available as well.

If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as possible. 

We want to be able to accommodate you, but the day of dietary accommodations are not always available depending on our venue. 

What is the refund policy?

Things come up and we understand. That's why if you cancel up to 2 weeks in advance we will fully refund your ticket cost.

If you cancel within 2 weeks of the event, a 15% cancellation fee will be deducted from the cost of your ticket.

What should I bring to the event?

Bring your preferred note-taking devices (paper & pen).
